ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Glo, and I'm a 24 year old self taught digital artist based in the USA! My journey as an artist began in 2022 when I discovered the world of virtual photography. What started off as a simple hobby would quickly snowball into what has become my #1 passion, allowing me to build a brand with over 20,000 followers across my platforms!

I’m well versed in a variety of editing programs, including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro, while my 3D art is created in Blender!

I take heavy inspiration from many legendary comic book artists such as John Romita Sr., Chip Zdarsky, Marco Checchetto, and Frank Miller, while my top inspiration as an artist has always been Gabriele Dell'Otto! His style is so recognizable and distinct, while just being so aesthetically pleasing to look at, I'm genuinely humbled at the opportunity to even try to emulate him through my own work!

To me, being an artist gives me an outlet to express myself and explore my imagination in ways I never truly could before, while also allowing me to stay connected to the nerdy/geeky side of myself that has always been a core part of who I am. I strongly believe every piece I create is a direct extension of myself, whether through the subject itself or the themes and stories I aim to tell through my work.
